What do they eat in Fiji? lets find out.
- Rourou. Rourou is Dalo or Taro leaves which is like spinach. With Rourou, you can make the famous dish, Fijian Rourou Peti. It is made with a mixture of Taro leaves, chili, onion and coconut milk.

- Cassava cake. Cassava cake is made of sticky rice iced with butter, jam or fresh fruits. It sounds really yummy, doesn’t it?

- Coconut bread. In Fiji, the coconut tree is known as the tree of life. Almost all food made in Fiji has coconut in it, including bread.

- Duruka. This is a very popular plant of Fiji, also known as Fijian asparagus. It is cooked in curry and much more. You can also fry it and eat it raw.

- Indian food. 40% of Fiji is occupied by Indians. So, Indian food in Fiji is very popular.

PLACES TO SEE IN FIJI
- Mamanuca and Yasawa islands. The Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands group is a paradise of reefs with sand-fringed isles shared by traditional Fijian villages and modern island resorts.
- Mamanuca islands.

- Yasawa islands.

- Nadi. The town itself sits between Nadi bay, the Nausori highlands and the beautiful Sabeto mountains to the north and it is surrounded by sugar cane fields and local settlements.

- Sri Shiva Subramanya Swami temple. This is a hindu temple which is very popular. You can see the Dravidian architecture and the story of Indian gods on the back of the temple.

- Fiji museum. This museum tells you all about the history and culture of Fiji.

- Magnificent Malolo. This magnificent place is made up of four huge volcanoes which form the Malolo Group. You can dive in the Malolo barrier reef and also discover hidden beaches in Malolo.
